Size and placement
Get the height right
Typical mounting heights. Your electrician will confirm the final position.
-
Beside a door
Mount it about 1.7 to 1.8 m above the threshold. With a single light, put it on the handle side of the door.
-
Sizing to the door
A light about a quarter to a third of the door height looks right. At 356 mm tall, it suits a side door or garage, or use a pair either side of a front door.
-
Along a deck, path or garage
Space them 2.5 to 3 m apart for even light.

Good to know
Questions customers ask
Quick answers before you buy.
Which bulbs does it take?
Two E12 candle bulbs. E12 is the US candle size, a little smaller than the E14 bulbs common in New Zealand, so standard NZ candle bulbs won't fit. We stock E12 LED bulbs to suit.
Is it suitable for New Zealand?
Yes. It is converted to 230 V for New Zealand, and a Supplier Declaration of Conformity is available on request.
Will you match a lower price?
Yes. If another authorised New Zealand retailer advertises the same product, in the same finish, for less, send us the link before you order and we will match it. The details are on our price match promise page.
